![]() I recommend going to another venue before you consider this place. They ruined my nights, expectations, and any enjoyment of entertainment (all 3 occasions I went). I will never enter into this place again. I am not form the Halifax area or familiar with the Scotiabank centre. Security will not help and only make matters worse ( they will take their anger out on you and are not professional at their job). I was unable to located my seats and the security staff were very rude, aggressive, terrible, and offensive. The security is not professional and will degrade you. I do not recommend this place for any venue. I have been here on 3 separate occasions and they were all a nightmare. Nothing but a bad experience at the Scotiabank center. But overall it is always an amazing experience every time I go! The only negative is some confusion with names, Scotiabank has also bought the naming rights to the Scotiabank Saddledome, home of the Calgary Flames and the Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors. It is one of the smaller venues in Canada, so we don't get many acts in comparison to the Torontos, Montreals and Vancouvers, but we still get a fair amount. I've been to many of these and the service with each one is top notch. And since it's inception the Tattoo has called the Scotiabank Centre home. WE Movement's WE Day Atlantic has also called the Scotiabank Centre home for plenty of years. In addition to the sports teams, Scotiabank Centre is has also played host to many of the worlds biggest touring acts, such as Guns N' Roses, Jack White, in addition to many others. My preferred team is the Thunderbirds, who have just began calling Halifax home, but the city has taken to them in huge numbers. The atmosphere is always completely electric. The primary tenants are the Mooseheads of the QMJHL, the Thunderbirds of the NLL and the Hurricanes of the NBL of Canada. ![]() I've lived in Halifax my entire life, every event that has happened here, if I haven't been myself, I've known someone who has. ![]()
